Speaking of the sages of India my mind goes back to the period of which history has no record, and tradition tries I vain to bring the secrets out of the gloom of the past.

And if we look around in present times we will find these sages all around us. Maybe you will find many of them in proximity of Holy places and maybe you will find them travelling in trains. But the question here is not how many sages we have in the country, the question is do we in their sanctity? Do we believe that their devotion towards the Almighty true or is it just a cover up of some prohibited activities. Many such fake Sages have been busted who tried to lure in innocent people, giving them false hope to solve their problems.

In order to be safe all you can do is be alert and active. Not all of them are fake and not all of them are impostors. Be wise, be safe.

A charming woman doesn’t follow the crowd. She is herself.’Young girls are always accosted to behave well and be simple. Especially in India, young girls are given hundreds of instructions to be followed while going out or even for simple things. This is a result of the stereotype thinking of the older generation regarding women being gentle and delicate. But if we look at the current generation of women, they like to be considered bold and confident and treated equally. They cannot withstand being treated unequally just because of their gender.

Young girls today like to enjoy freedom and have fun like boys. Though the society is reluctant to accept this change, still the young women are breaking the barriers and taking a step forward. My advice to such young, charming women would be, ‘Be yourself, don’t enact others.’ And enjoy your life.

Voice your thoughts so that the world knows that you exist and this is the way you can make a difference in this world. Say it out loud, sometimes you may be wrong but don’t worry just believe in yourself and move ahead.

Reflections of Life-At times it is important to retrospect our lives and actions that we undertake in our day to day activities. That is to say it is essential to reflect upon our actions and understand how they are altering the course of our life.

The beauty of reflections is that they show you nothing new but are still able to astonish you by showing you what is true.

It is truly said,

‘Life is a reflection of what we allow ourselves to see and be’.

In order to see what is true we need to reflect on ourselves, before pointing a finger at others see if you are doing the right thing. As when you point a finger at others the other fingers point towards you.

Buddha says, Since everything is a reflection of our minds.. Everything can be changed by our minds.

Let us take an objective illustration

The beauty of the world lies in the image, the beauty lies not only in the object but also in the eye of the beholder.

Man made marvels all over the world have astonished the people. Be it the Stonehenge or the Leaning Tower of Pisa or the Colosseum of Rome. God helps those who help themselves

God helps those who help themselves.-It was raining heavily, and I was standing at a bus stop. I had an umbrella which kept me dry and protected me from the lashing rain. I saw a man who came running from the opposite side of the road and stood next to me. He wasn’t carrying an umbrella, and therefore was completely drenched. I immediately asked him to share my umbrella. The man felt awkward since as a stranger offered help and comfort. But it is my inherent nature as a human being to help others. We call ourselves the superior race in the animal kingdom and if we start being selfish then the world will come to an end. Small acts of kindness will transform the world and make it a better place for one and all.

Success has nothing to do with what you gain in life or accomplish for yourself. It’s what you do for others. ~Danny Thomas

All our life revolves around some very important people, the ones who are very near and dear to us. We love them so much that we can do anything for them, be it anything. The love, care and importance we give to others is often not reflected back to us. Many times it happens that we feel that we do not get what we deserve, in the sense we do not get the good fortune that we accumulate by helping others. This feeling is very disturbing because this makes us feel low and may also at times cause depression. How to deal with such situations? Well, this happens with me a lot. So all I do is think about the benefits I get by helping others. For example when I help a stranger I bring a smile to their face, when I help a friend, I enhance my bond with that person. And many other things.

The question still remains, what about me ? Well, if you can help so many people then why cant you help yourself. Be that independent person who doesn’t need the help of others, stand on your feet, be bold and be strong.
