We start going to school at a very young age, when we start learning what’s what and start understanding what others want to convey us, is the time that our parents send us to school because that’s where our skills start getting polished and that’s where the foundation of our practical life is put.

The first thing we learn at the school is staying disciplined. We are meant to wear a certain code of clothes and that too in their proper pattern, we follow a strict order of seating, we follow the commands given to us by our teachers and that’s how discipline is defined.

And one thing that we notice, is that discipline has nothing to do with intellect. Sometimes the intelligent ones are in-disciplined and that’s the reason why they’re not liked by their mentors.

If we’re a disciplined person, we’ll give out a positive signal to people who’ll catch it and that’s what will make things right for us.

Like the good old days, we may become the Monitor of the class or we may become the notorious one. The choice is ours!

Our mind is the home of everything we carry in our self. The self talk we do in our mind is what makes our personality.

 

But at times, we just over think and our self-talk becomes too negative to give out any good vibe to us. All we end up thinking is the bad, either for our own self or for others and that’s where the negative vibe is generated.

Our thoughts get contaminated sometimes when we over think and it surely has its aftermaths.

But by this, no one gains anything, not us, not the person we think about. It’s just the loss and the ones at loss are we our self.

If over thinking is the problem then ending the same is the solution. We should end over thing and the negative self talk we do at the back of our mind even though it’s tough to do that.

But once we start keeping our mind occupied, it’ll not get anything to think about more than desired. It’ll be productive and we’ll be the ones who’ll gain a lot at the end.

 

So feed the mind some good beans, it’ll give out a great produce.

The Real Autumn of Life-Aging is inevitable; growing old is optional. What does this really mean? Well. Every one of us knows that the youth will certainly fade into old age one day. And all the beauty will vanish. Though many would say that youth is being young physically, I perceive young age with the age of one’s heart. Irrespective of one’s age if one is young at heart then he/she should be considered to be young.

 Energy, enthusiasm, power and eagerness are all characteristics of young mind and soul and if one continue to struggle in life in the latter days in order to have the same energy and enthusiasm then that person is truly young. We all have witnessed many such persons who are striving hard to make two ends meet even at a very old age. They are the true heroes. They should be our source of inspiration. Even in the autumn of their lives they continue to bloom as if its spring

When was the last time you saw a running water tap and you went ahead and switched it off? If you have done so, then you have contributed a lot to the society. It is a very distressing fact that the planet which is made up of 70% percent water is running short of water resources. The engineers and scientists have tried to resolve the problem of water shortage. In the meantime it is obligatory on our part to play a vital role in conserving the already existing water resources and exploit them to the least.

There are many countries around the globe which experience acute water shortage, and some of them are importing water from other nations. There have been immensely tense situations between states and nations over the issue of water. As a human being and as a global citizen is our responsibility to save water and make best use of it.

I have always enjoyed a cycle ride more than the ride in a car. The feeling of driving with your own strenuous efforts and advancing ahead is very pleasing. But many years have passed and I have not taken a ride on my cycle. Now rust takes its toll on the shiny handle and the tires lie flat and punctured. The thing which used to fill my dull life with energy now lies lifeless. This can happen with anything. The Delicacy-Modern times have seen drastic changes in the social behavior of human beings. But even today the same sorts of classes exist within any social group which have been since centuries. Some people set themselves apart from the crowd by being different or by doing simple things in a different way; not necessarily always. At times you need to showcase your talent and outshine others than just following blindly what others are doing. Instead of simply copying others and doing what they are doing, be a trend setter and compel others to follow your path.

You will often come across people who will be very delicate and sensitive. Small things will sometimes become a big headache with them. Though they are difficult to be with; these people help us to be tender with everyone and after sometime we like to be more caring with them.

This does not mean that they should always act like the damsel in distress and be the attention seeker in the group. They must understand that after one point this habit can be really frustrating to others. Also it is not good to exploit your weakness and make others work for you. Be tender, be kind and advice for those who hang out with them,’Handle with Care’.

This is a story of tiny squirrel that used to wander among the thick bushes in my neighbourhood, looking for food and water. One fine day, since I used to see it, I thought of offering food and water to it. To my surprise the squirrel was very delighted to have the offerings and quickly went away. After an hour while I was going out, I saw the same squirrel was again playing among the bushes. For a moment I couldn’t understand what was it doing, then after having a closer look I came to know that there was another squirrel present there. They both were enjoying the water I had given. I loved their spirit of sharing each and everything with all their near dear ones. I realised than we humans though claim to be the most social animal among all, are indeed very far and disconnected from each other.

Ever been the victim of eye teasing?/Soup for the Soul How did you respond? Or should I ask, did you even respond? The problem of eve teasing in India has been there since decades but the problem persists because at times the girls do not respond to it giving the ‘douche bags’ the permission to do it again. And the girls are not to be blamed. The stereotype mentality of the Indian society wherein the faults are always pointed about womenfolk and the men are allowed to behave the way they want is completely unjustified. We all wish we have a magic lamp which would unleash an all wish granting Genie. Imagine how your life could go from being boring and dull to being awesome. Indeed it will be like a dream come true. If I ever got a magic lamp I would make a dream list and command the genie to make them all come true.
