Woman-A Fairy Tale

Woman-A Fairy Tale-On the day of International Women’s day, this is dedicated to all the women.
All of you might have heard the story of a Princess who was in trouble because of her wicked step-mother and three evil step sisters. Though the Crown of the Palace was rightfully hers, it was allegedly taken away by the Step-mother. And then one fine day, a Prince charming come to the rescue of the damsel in distress and took her with him. And they lived happily ever after.

Well, all of this might be true in the past but very unlikely to happen in the 21st Century. So there are certain things that you must accept as they are.

  1. There won’t be any prince charming coming to your rescue. Definitely you will have very good male friends who will be by your side through thick or thin but no prince charming, sorry. Be strong and fight your battles on your own.
  2. Be true to yourself and to others. Accept the facts and be independent. This is what today’s society wants. Women are capable of doing anything, prove this true. Take up any job and prove that you are equally skilled at it like your male counterpart.
  3. Take care of yourself. You are responsible for your own well being. Be happy, keep smiling. Whatever comes your way, face it courageously; you will definitely have a happy ending to your story.

Every semester we start fresh

last minute study

Every semester we start fresh, with fresh determinations and resolve that this semester whatever happens I will study regularly, make proper notes, attend all lectures etc.  These habits last for about 2 weeks after the start of the semester and soon we start bunking a lecture or two, which follows by neglecting the ‘notes making’ resolve and then there remains no sign of regular studies.

And then suddenly there is another shock, the approaching Mid-semester exams! This brings turmoil in the lives of every student. All of a sudden the world goes topsy-turvy and all the joy fades away. The exams hang like swords upon us and we start preparing for the exam just a day before the exam. The truth then dawns upon us that the syllabus is beyond our limit and then we look for the important topics and limit our studies to key points. Doing all this, we appear for the exam.

Whatever be the case whether we pass or fail, ace the class or perform just around the average.  In our minds we are proud that by studying for one night we are able to clear the subject. Be proud of yourself. And Good luck with the results 😀

Evil Out, Fortune In

Evil Out, Fortune In-If you see somebody throwing soyabeans on the street, you will call the guy crazy. But if you happen to be celebrating the Japanese Festival, Setsubun, you will reverentially join him in shooing away demons by hitting them with beans.

The festival marks the end of winter and onset of spring. This festival is associated with climatic change, renewal of body and mind, expulsion of evil, symbolic rebirth, and preparation for the coming planting season.

“Evil out & Fortune In” is the simplest quote for life in any of our hazardous situation when we feel/face hindrance because when one comes in, other goes out. So, let Good things in you be always inside & make the Evil-Devil sue out

The habit of sharing

The habit of sharing what we have has ever since considered very noble and humanistic. This is inculcated in our daily life right from our childhood. Our parents play a vital role in inculcating good habits in us. And if you are fortunate to have sibling then this habit of sharing comes naturally with time.

And this noble habit should not be restricted within humans but also with other living organisms around us. We borrow many things from nature, not just many almost everything we use comes from nature and we design and modify it to suit our needs. Hence it is our duty to share what we have with Mother Nature. If you have it, then share it. Mother Nature teaches us something new every day. What did you learn today ?

Beauty of the Nature

Upon a nice mid-spring day,
Let’s take a look at Nature’s way,
Breathe the scent of nice fresh air,
Feel the breeze within your hair.
The grass will poke between your toes,
Smell the flowers with your nose,
Clouds form shapes within the skies,
And light will glisten from your eyes.
Hear the buzzing of the bees,
Climb the tallest willow trees,
Look across the meadow way,
And you shall see a young deer play.
Pick the daisies as they grow,
Watch a gentle cold stream flow,
Know the sounds of water splash,
Catch its glimmer in a flash.
When altogether all seems sound,
Lay yourself upon the ground,
Take a moment to inhale,
And listen to Nature tell her tale…

Nature is God’s Soup for his Soul
The beauty of nature is beyond words, it is something you can feel from within.
