An array of jokes – Just Laugh it Out!

If a girl says she will be ready in 5 minutes she will be.
No need to remind her about it every 15 minutes while she’s getting ready.

They: Bullets are so weird.
Me: No. They only do their job after they’re FIRED.
They: I think I finally understood a joke! It went right through my head.
Me: I gave it my best SHOT, at least.
They: Too bad it was a MISFIRE.
Me: You really hit the bull’s eye with that one.

In school, a girl I had a crush on got glasses and she hated wearing it. I remember my dumbass brain signalling me to stare at lightbulbs for hours trying to get glasses to make her feel better.

Well, eventually I got glasses but I was late as someone did it faster than me.

PS- I still have glasses and well, a tag of Forever Single followed from then.

The Quality of F.R.I.E.N.D.S Character That Resembles Entrepreneurial Skills

Ross, Rachel, Joey, Phoebe, Monica, Chandler. Do these names remind you of anything? Only one name in the prior list is enough to commemorate ‘Friends’. Yes, there have been many debates on which TV season is making the audience laugh out loud, or I would say, rolling on the floor laughing. The Big Bang Theory, Two and a Half Men, How I met your mother and Modern Family come to compete the ‘Six Character’s Story’. The fact that Friends has succeeded in surpassing all the daily soap has numerous reasons. It integrated every possible human emotion. Well, then there is something every entrepreneurs should learn about. Yes, First Generation Entrepreneurs always endure different hassles and find themselves in diverse cages.

 I will comprehend a unique quality of each character that can assist leaders to come out of their critical conditions and be good trouble-shooters.

 Ross- 

 ‘Trust me. I would be the last person to disguise you and the first one to rely on.’

 Whatever the case and how critical the situation is, Ross is a trusted member of all the juggling characters of Friends. Entrepreneurs don’t breach their boundaries as reliability is one of the key attributes they ought to possess in order to gain the confidence of their clientele or, sometimes, customers. Leaders must also take good care of their team members in order to maintain their reliability.

 Rachael-

 ‘Perhaps I should do something on my own. I don’t need my father’s financial support anymore, I guess.’

 Though she was naïve earlier, she stood on her feet after she realized the joy of doing something on her own. She was characterized by ardent emotions, but just like the candle emitting light as a result of being heated, she proved her worth and fit herself in the industry she was meant to be. The Real-life entrepreneurs don’t do anything different than Rachael as they might fumble in the beginning but the passionate approach towards their goal guides them to arrive at the desired destination. ‘You burn and  you glow’ makes you incandescent.

 Joey-

 ‘How you doing?’

 Jolly, Jaunty, and Jubilant; he is the one who laughs and actuates our nerves to relax. He cracks jokes, comes up as innocently as he is, and behaves naturally. Leaders like Elon Musk, Richard Branson, Bill Gates, and Mark Zuckerberg have a plethora of things to worry about; they need to loosen it up. Being like Joey gives them the freedom to ask everyone ‘How are they doing?’ and eventually lightening up the stressed up work-space around.

 Phoebe-

 ‘Let’s just try one syllable by syllable’

 Remember Phoebe trying to teach Joey the French language? She was irritated, yet she had the power to induce a positive belief in him. That’s what smart entrepreneurs do. They are dynamic and propellant enough to incite their dreams in others so that it becomes a ‘Team Dream’. Her elementary way to seek attention while playing guitar, and her humble representation of the trouble she faces; it explains one certain thing that she was persuasive. Wise leaders should have it. The above quote is the entrepreneurs’ “Every drop makes an ocean”.

 Monica- 

 ‘Not just Clean, Monica clean’

 Yes, there are certain things called ethics and morals; in business, we call it ‘Rules’. We should abide by certain principles just as Monica used to clean every particle of dust around her. She believed that it satisfied her. Contentment is what entrepreneurs thrive for. To achieve this, they have to follow certain conventions and patterns which are mandatory to perform in the professional world.

 Chandler- 

 ‘Probably I will do a job I am good at’

 During his boring job, Chandler realized that he is good at sarcasm as well as cracking spontaneous jokes. He then decided to pursue his career in the advertising industry. It is never too late, they say. Entrepreneurs should not bump in any commercial section. They should go along the way they are good at and use their creation when it’s necessary. ‘Doing the things you love matters more than loving the things you do’.

 Here you go; entrepreneurial skills and Friends character are hence comparable.

Who Is Howard Wolowitz? Why Is He So Funny?

There are only selected television seasons where all the characters are cherished equally. Let us take comedy as a genre, we may have Friends, Two and a Half Men, How I met your mother, Modern Family, but the one season we ought to include in this list is ‘The Big Bang Theory’- The Reel Life Theory. We all are acquainted with the famous nerd and robotic-emotioned Sheldon Cooper but in this article we are going to talk about a sexually desperate, horny engineer, reel life astronaut, outstanding mimic and the only ‘No-Doctor’, deliberately managed to make the audience laugh out loud. Yes, we are talking about an amateur flirty ‘Howard Wolowitz’.

His chemistry with all the characters has been fantastically riveting. All we know about him is his pervert but funny moves, weird bromance, creepy but refreshing Jewish guy who is always ditched by the women because of his pathetic hitting moves. A little boy of 30 still living with his mother: childish but the most sarcastic, speaker of several languages, a small package of good things, and much more.

Frankly, he can’t be put in words as his creepy though refreshing lines can only be best described in the conversation he does with his dear ones. Let’s go through some of the most humorous dialogues Howard had. Though he has been underestimated quite often by Sheldon, being laughed at by Penny, simply supported by Raj, offensively ridiculed by Leonard and got lucky with the beautiful Bernadette, Howard is one of the most interesting fictional characters whose posture and gesture makes us roll on the floor laughing. He may be gross sometimes but justifies his role in every single scene with a pool of engineering knowledge that he possesses. With his clumsy posture, unique dressing sense, extraordinary expression, and rhetorical arguments, he amuses the viewers with his creative acting.

Going off the topic, he suffered from parenting issues, bullied in childhood, and underestimated most of the times. Sit back and relax to have some of the LOL and LMAO moments.

Is it just me, or does webchatting with your clothes on seem a little pointless?

He wants have a point in everything, ain’t he? A horny and a gross, Howi has been popular to try out new ways to impress women. Unfortunately, he fails, ALWAYS.

Raj: What do you say, Howard?

Howard: I say Vegas, baby!

Raj: What are you gonna tell your mother?

Howard: Sea World, baby!

As we described him ‘A boy of 30’, he has a child in himself that makes him more vulnerable (among his friends).

Wolowitz: Penny, let me take this opportunity to point out that you are looking particularly ravishing today

Penny: Not with the thousand condoms, Howard.

Wolowitz: So there IS a number.

Remember, there was a competition on who wins the heart of Penny. Well, yes, Leonard beat Howard. Certainly, the above conversation must have made an impact!

Wolowitzz: Get the door, Howard.

Howard: Really, is that what you do when someone knocks? I had no idea.

He would open the door as an obedient child but to the shout his mother does, a roar is a must. That’s what Howard do.

Wolowitz: If it’s ‘Creepy’ to use the Internet, the military satellites and robot aircraft to find a house full of gorgeous young models, so I can drop in on them unexpected, then fine I am creepy.

Spy on girls, checking out dating sites, stalk women, go to bars but can’t ask a single lady out. So SAD. Now, you must have understood the reason of his creepiness.

Bernadette: You are a grown man. You guys don’t have to do everything together.

Howard: I know, that’s why I am spending tonight with you.

You can never know who Howi’s true love was. Berni or Raj?

Social psychology is a branch of psychology concerned with how social influences affect how people think, feel, and act. The way we perceive ourselves in relation to the rest of the world plays an important role in our choices, behaviors, and beliefs. Conversely, the opinions of others also impact our behavior and the way we view ourselves.

Social Psychology Concepts You Should Understand
Understanding social psychology can be useful for many reasons.
First, we can better understand how groups impact our choices and actions. Additionally, it also allows us to gain a greater appreciation for how our social perceptions affect our interactions with other people.

There are some basic aspects of social behavior that play a large role in our actions and how we see ourselves.

1.Social behavior is goal-oriented.
Our interactions serve goals or fulfill needs. Some common goals or needs include the need for social ties, the desire to understand ourselves and others, the wish to gain or maintain status or protection, and the need to attract companions. The way people behave is often driven by the desire to fulfill these needs. People seek friends and romantic partners, strive to gain social status, and attempt to understand the motivations that guide other people’s behaviors.

2. The interaction between the individual and the situation helps determine the outcome.
To fully understand why people do the things that they do, it is essential to look at individual characteristics, the situation and context, and the interaction between these two variables.

In many instances, people behave very differently depending upon the situation.

For example, someone who is normally quiet and reserved might become much more outgoing when placed in some type of leadership role. Another example is how people sometimes behavior differently in groups than they would if they were by themselves.
Environmental and situational variables play an important role and have a strong influence on our behavior.

3. People spend a great deal of time considering social situations.
Our social interactions help form our self-concept and perception. One method of forming self-concept is through the reflected appraisal process in which we imagine how other people see us. Another method is through the social comparison process whereby we consider how we compare to other people in our peer group.

Sometimes we engage in upward social comparison where we rate ourselves against people who are better off than us in some way. In other instances, we might engage in downward social comparison where we contrast our own abilities to those of others who are less capable.

4. We also analyze and explain the behavior of those around us.
One common phenomenon is the expectation confirmation, where we tend to ignore unexpected attributes and look for evidence that confirms our preexisting beliefs about others. This helps simplify our worldview, but it also skews our perception and can contribute to stereotyping. For example, if you expect people to behave in a certain way, you might look for examples that confirm your belief while at the same time ignoring evidence that conflicts with your existing opinions.
5. We often believe that a person’s behavior is a good indicator of their personality.
Another influence on our perceptions of other people can be explained by the theory of correspondent inferences. This occurs when we infer that the actions and behaviors of others correspond to their intentions and personalities. For example, if we see a woman helping an elderly person cross the street, we might assume that she is a kind-hearted person.

While behavior can be informative in some instances, especially when the person’s actions are intentional, it can also be misleading. If we have limited interaction with someone, the behavior we see may be atypical or caused by the specific situation rather than by the person’s overriding dispositional characteristics.

In the previous example, the woman might only be helping the elderly person because she has been employed to do so instead of out of the kindness of her heart.

Have you ever been to your cousin’s wedding? That too a love marriage, which luckily turned into an arranged one, by the mercy of none other than the famous “maasi”?

“Maasi, your son getting fortunate in love on ‘Shaadi.com’ doesn’t imply that my perfect match is also waiting there for just one click of mine”.

“I mean does she even realize the difference in the choices of coffee we both prefer to drink?”

All our childhood, the common topic of our fights would be on the breeds of dog we wanted to pet. When he wanted a Pug, I was fighting for a Doberman.

“She was the perfect one in the list, never like the old ones”, said my brother, confidently.

“Was there a blue tick on her name, like the ones on an Instagram profile, to verify her perfection? Or was it just destiny, which clicked right? Or is it just the feeling called love, that makes everything and everyone seem to be perfect enough?”.

I wasn’t the perfect man; a woman would love to be with.

Average looking, high earning, I am a man with a huge collection of video games, rather than porn in my laptop. When it comes on a woman, to see the other sides of me, keeping aside good looks and my superman print boxer that I wear 4 days a week, they fail to see the child in me, who craves for love and acceptance.

But when I look for physical appeal in a woman, falling more for the fairer females, lusting for perfect curves, that highly contoured jawline, and a sober cleavage, why am I judged?

What’s wrong in wanting to have the most beautiful girl in town, when all these good looking females are busy hunting for the hot guys around? “I am Mr. Imperfectionist, looking for my Ms. Perfectionist”, that’s my new introduction on Shaadi.com, finally.
