Conquering the heights [Did You Fall]

Conquering the heights/Soup for the Soul

Every person has their own battle called their LIFE. Life is nothing less than a battle in itself, no matter whose life it is. We all go through our own sorrows and happiness, we all have those good and bad phases but most of all, we all have that uphill struggle that we got to do to be THE BEST!The heights might scare you!

 SOUP FOR THE SOUL

The battle of being the best is not a new one, it’s been up since man realized his existence.

But most of the times, in the hurry of reaching the heights and in the haste of proving our mark, we forget that we live in a society. We’re no animals but humans and more than any creatures, we need people around us to make our life complete, that’s what friends and family are for!

But unfortunately, the race of reaching the heights makes us blind and we see nothing and no one around us.Then what?!

We surely reach the heights  but when we stand there alone and look down, it scares the hell out

Fear of the Heights

Some roads might not cross.

height fear

A lot of our decisions depend on what others think or do. We sometimes follow other people or do things that’ll bring us closer to them or that’ll please them.

Looking ahead in life, to your future is a very good thought but that should be for our self and not be influenced by other’s presence.

If we do something with our life, keeping some other person in our mind and assuming that things might work out as we’ve planned then there’s no bigger fool than us. Future is uncertain and so are people. If today someone is with you, you have no guarantee in life that they’d be with you in the future too. You might assume that maybe one day your roads will cross if you choose one particular path but that might be your illusion.

Your roads might seem to be crossing in the future but they won’t actually cross. That’s when you feel cheated by your own self.

So always make the choice by keeping your own future in mind, a future that has a vision of your own life, irrespective of anyone else.

Take the right decision, don’t fool yourself.

Power to Earn- Learn to Earn [updated]

powerr quotesAccumulate The Goodness!

We’re free, we move around in the world, coming across many things, many places, many people and what not.

And life is another name of learning. We do learn from such things, places and people every day. the one who doesn’tPOWER OF HAPINESS learn would never grow and that’s the fact of life.

But are we doing it right? Are we learning just for our good?

Well! The answer is NO!

We learn anything and everything about things that come in our way. We never pay a heed to what to learn and what to ignore. And the answer s simple!

We should only learn the GOOD and ignore the BAD. That’s the only way of good learning. If we start acquiring the goodness from around us and start avoiding the bads, isn’t it that one day we’ll be the best?

So, why no accumulate the good! We’ll be a living package of GOODNESS!

Temporary Happiness!

What would you not do to stay happy? Does happiness actually stay?

Perhaps not!

We be happy and we also be sad but nothing stays forever. With time, the weathers of life keep on changing. Some days are happy while some are sad.

But looking at the small things in life, like watching a little kid laugh his heart out, watching the sun rise and set, watching the sea waves coming and going at the sea shore, watching birds flying free in the skies and what not!

These small things mean a lot sometimes if we look at them closely. There’s a hidden happiness that is temporary but it is in its purest form. We taste utter happiness in these little things even though it doesn’t last longer but who has got time for this?

We’re too busy in grabbing the reasons for our bigger joys, which aren’t even joyful in real. We work to have a better life which doesn’t mean happiness but luxury.

Happiness lies in little things if we look closely to life because big reasons for big happiness rarely come.

 SOUP FOR THE SOUL

And to be happy, one should start gathering the little temporary happiness from those little things that bring our real smile. It’s like a glass bangle, a girl would buy it with utmost desire and will wear it with pride but it’s meant to be temporary, so it’ll be broken.

But for those blissful moments when she wore them, the girl was actually happy!

Discipline can make you win the race

Discipline can make you win the race/Soup for the Soul

We start going to school at a very young age, when we start learning what’s what and start understanding what others want to convey us, is the time that our parents send us to school because that’s where our skills start getting polished and that’s where the foundation of our practical life is put.

The first thing we learn at the school is staying disciplined. We are meant to wear a certain code of clothes and that too in their proper pattern, we follow a strict order of seating, we follow the commands given to us by our teachers and that’s how discipline is defined.

And one thing that we notice, is that discipline has nothing to do with intellect. Sometimes the intelligent ones are in-disciplined and that’s the reason why they’re not liked by their mentors.

If we’re a disciplined person, we’ll give out a positive signal to people who’ll catch it and that’s what will make things right for us.

GUTS STORY

Like the good old days, we may become the Monitor of the class or we may become the notorious one. The choice is ours!

Our mind is the home of everything we carry in our self. The self talk we do in our mind is what makes our personality.

But at times, we just over think and our self-talk becomes too negative to give out any good vibe to us. All we end up thinking is the bad, either for our own self or for others and that’s where the negative vibe is generated.

Our thoughts get contaminated sometimes when we over think and it surely has its aftermaths.

But by this, no one gains anything, not us, not the person we think about. It’s just the loss and the ones at loss are we our self.

soup for the SOUL

If over thinking is the problem then ending the same is the solution. We should end over thing and the negative self talk we do at the back of our mind even though it’s tough to do that.

discipline story

But once we start keeping our mind occupied, it’ll not get anything to think about more than desired. It’ll be productive and we’ll be the ones who’ll gain a lot at the end.

So feed the mind some good beans, it’ll give out a great produce.

The Overloaded Struggle

The overloaded struggle

Overloaded? Not good! Not good!

In earlier school we used to study in mathematics, the capacity, volume and area of various shapes and sizes.

STRUGGLE STORIES

The lessons were calculative and practical but can we relate them with us?

SOUP FOR THE SOUL

Let’s think of it! Are we some container or shape to be measured by capacity? No! But we do have a certain capacity off holding inside us, holding the emotions, the worries, the sorrows and even the happiness. We can’t hold much beyond our capacity but we don’t consider this. We always take in and take in a lot, no matter if we’re capable of taking in or not.

Now talking about work! Everyone nowadays is working loads and loads because they want to earn loads and loads.

What is this leading us to?

Stress! Worries! Depression! Frustration!

So why are we running so hard when it’s not doing any good? Why are we taking more than we can when it’s in vain?

Health is wealth, they say! If we keep on taking over burdens like this, this container called human body will one day break down to never get fixed again! That is what overload leads us to!

Let’s take the time out for our self and take deep breath. Let’s look our self in the mirror and appreciate whatever we’ve achieved till now.

It might not be enough but it’s certainly sufficient for the moment. Let’s avoid the overload for a while and smile for now!

To gain some, you got to lose some!

We all loath the troubles, struggles in our life! We complain that our life is getting tougher day by day. We also doubt at our choice of path we take in our life sometimes because, the struggle and the hard work turn out to be exhaustive and it sucks the high spirits out of us!

But is it worthless?

You’ll reach a point in your life one day and then you’ll realize that all the struggle, the hard work and the efforts you did were never worthless. They’ll pay off and you’ll smile looking back at these days of turmoil.

Nothing, no hard work goes in vain, it gives us something, a success and if not that then surely an experience. We should keep striving hard, harder and the hardest, not worrying about the troubles of the struggle because to be better, we got to get polished and one day we become the best.

The Pakistan-Baluchistan issue: What can we expect in 2017

The plight of small nations or nationalities wedged between great empires has for centuries been a story of tragedy, extermination and an all-too-familiar manipulation of local aspirations towards self-determination by more powerful and cynical regimes. A modern version of the classical dilemma of a small nation under siege, fighting for survival on its own terms, appears to be emerging in Baluchistan, Pakistan’s largest province. With the issue of Baluchistan coming under scrutiny for most of 2016, India seems to have finally found the Achilles heel in Pakistan.

In a recent press release, Mr. Modi had stated, “The time has come for Pakistan to answer the world, on atrocities against people in Baluchistan and PoK.” The allegation is not false after all.

Historically, the Baluchi people have been hostile to attempts at inclusion in larger units and even at the time of partition had demanded a referendum in which independence would also be an available option.

Recently, the former Chief Minister of Baluchistan has issued a declaration from exile  in London which threatens to have serious political repercussions not only for the future of Pakistan but for the Gulf and the entire central Asian region. Ataullah Mengal, who headed the only elected Baluch government ever to serve in Pakistan’s westernmost province, had declared that the Baluch will no longer pursue their thirty-five year quest to secure ‘provincial autonomy’ as a recognized nationality within Pakistan, but will now fight for ‘complete independence’ and the end of Pakistan as a state in its present form.

Baluchistan economically stagnant, sparsely populated and mostly arid, is Pakistan’s largest, youngest and internally the most varied province. It covers a territory of approximately 134,000 square miles, larger that is than Punjab and Sindh put together. However, this almost half of Pakistan represents, according to the 2011 census, about 7% of Pakistan’s total population even after the separation of Bangladesh, with a population density of less than eight persons per square mile. Thanks to a stagnating economy, net population outflow is considerable and is likely to help maintain the present level of density for some time to come. The population of Baluchistan is ethnically, socially and culturally varied from the rest of Pakistan. Most of the Baluchis, as they are called, feel exploited at the hands of the ruling government and have been demanding independence for decades. The hue and cry has been neglected for long and so far, many have gone missing, mostly because of Pakistan’s military interventions.

Thus, the issue having finally gained international attention, 2017 brings a lot of hope for the population of Baluchistan and finds a considerable ally in its neighbor India, although India has its own political benefits in doing so. In fact, from the point of view of International relations, the issue of Baluchistan is a blessing in disguise for India, as it allows the nation to curb the increasing disturbances of Pakistan in the region of Kashmir. A lot remains to be seen as to how the two countries will tackle this seemingly intense issue.
