“Amma, I can’t wait. Tell me about  Holi…”

Amma said, “That comes from a tradition started long ago by Lord Krishna.”

You see Krishna was blue like the sky while his friend Radha was white as snow.

Krishna would often ask his Amma,” Why is Radha not blue like me? Why is it so?”

His Amma,one day, told him as a joke,” Why Radha isn’t blue, I really can’t say, But if you smear blue color on her then you are sure to get your way.”

Naughty Krishna did exactly that, and the prank he played that day, became a tradition that we celebrate as the festival of Holi today
