Do what makes you happy

Do what makes you happy!

Let’s all take this while and go back in our childhood.Do what makes you happy Before this puberty had hit us, what did we do? Doesn’t it seem like the best place where everyone wants to go back? Why is it so? Why was childhood better than the present life?

The answer is very simple and we all apparently know it deep down us. The childhood was special and beautiful because that was the time of our life where we used to do what made us happy. We used to try new things and learn from them, no matter the experience was a good one or a bad one, but we never gave up on trying. And unfortunately, we grew up!

Now what do we do? We do things to simply please others. And that is the hard and bitter truth whether you believe it or not!

We decide to work for getting a better life but as soon as we get a job, we become the part of the rat race of ‘Better Status’, ‘Better salary’, ‘better house’, ‘better car’ and what not! We forget the crux of working was to have that little peace inside, the peace that we can only get when the heart, mind and soul relax and ooze out the sheer happiness.

 Soup for the Soul

do makes you happy

So let’s quit the rat race for a while, take a little time out, visit places and do things that make ‘Us’ happy and let’s forget for a while what others think of us!

Female Protagonist. Who is She?

Indian Cinema has dramatically modified its crux in the case of leading roles in the movies. Yes, it all began with Lajja when the discrimination to women was showed in the most sarcastic way, then it flowed consistently with Chameli, Page 3, Chak de India, Highway, Mardaani, Mary Kom, Queen & much more. The critics & viewers adored these movies like anything because every movie with the female protagonist has its fantastic theme to showcase the current trends/cultures/traditions/psyche.

I would surely salute to the directors of these movies who took the risk to make such different concepts movies & made the Indian people aware about the fanciness & streams flowing in our country.

Each protagonist were allotted specific theme based role so as know about that particular genre i.e. Chakde India showed how Indian women can play hockey too & is capable of even winning it, Mary Kom depicted the struggle of a woman but the firm determination lead her to the success.

So it feels good to watch a movie with a purpose than to pass 3 leisure hours in a cinema.

And personally speaking, such genre movies should be filmed more & more to balance the gender discrimination (which is still in many parts of our country) in India.

Women in India are seen as a ’ housewife’ or ‘No Job Doer’ which makes no sense at all as they have their own capabilities, creativities, skills & potentials. They too are ambitious & want to glitter like gold in the modern era.

Women too need idol for their dreams & such movies gives them the ‘Ideal Idol’ to follow (Kind of Role Model). Hats off to the Actress like Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut, Rani Mukherji, Alia Bhatt. They played their fiction role precisely. They truly describe the original form of the female protagonist.

The short conclusion or brief commentary about this be as “Women & Men were born equal & will die equal so why the intermediate stage is unequal?”

SOUP FOR THE SOUL

To be heard, leave the herd! [Updated]

To be heard, leave the herd!

herd,herd

To be heard, leave the herd!-The creations of each sort are meant and destined to stick together because their endurance relies on being dependent on each other.

That is justified too because the nature too shows how the beings of the similar kinds stay and live together.

We humans too live together in a society where we interact and work and do everything with our kinds. But can we imagine things if each one of us start adopting a similar pattern of things, if we start doing similar things. Life would become so humdrum that way.

Each human being has been injected with some uniqueness and that’s what makes us different from the others. We have that one rarest thing that makes us stand out from the herd. But that will be totally wasted if we keep on following the herd. We’ll never be able to show the world what we posses, our voice would be mistreated as the echo of the voices surrounding us.

To be heard we need to quit the herd and stand and sooner or later we’d be recognized as an individual with our inimitable qualities and not as a part of the herd.

Sometimes,if becomes difficult to be going alone leaving the herd but eventually there comes a better result of an uniquely crafted work.

So, stand out and sing your own song, you’ll surely be heard.

Get out of the shelter

Let’s get out of the shelter!

We all seek shelter of one sort of other to save ourselves from the harsh things that we can’t face and after we get space beneath that shelter, we find solace!

But are we using too much of them?

We’re so addicted on getting covered that even a shower of rain makes us sick in the absence of umbrella.

The shelters are starting to stop us from getting out of our shells. We’re so habitual of them that we’ve forgotten to come out in the open air and enjoy life.

Lets for a change walk in the rain and let it seep to our souls, it’s a strange sort of happiness.

Lets for a change get out of our car and stand at the ‘Chat stall’ and enjoy the food out there.

Lets for a change take a day out and get out of that house.

Lets for a change make ourselves prone to whatever comes in life.

Lets for a change make ourselves stronger!
